Call for Proposals – Graphic Design Consultant

Project88 (“Dự án 88”) is a human rights organization focused on Vietnam. We are a 501(c)(3) non-governmental organization registered in the United States but with staff located across the globe. Established in 2012, Project88 has built a reputation as a leader in the field. Our mission is to support and defend embattled human rights activists—people who we view as the agents of progressive social change. We investigate allegations of abuse, expose violations, and advocate for the repeal of repressive laws and the release of political prisoners.

BACKGROUND

 

Project88 is soliciting proposals for a graphic designer (“Consultant”) to oversee execution of an existing web design brief. The Consultant, partnering with Project88 leadership and its existing web development team, will be responsible for guiding implementation of new website design, including execution of artistic vision and user experience.

This position is for a contractor, non-staff role for a fixed term of four months. Work will be done remotely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

–       Consult with web development team to ensure accurate execution of design vision at all steps of the process

–       Edit existing visuals and create new visuals (photos, graphics, icons, etc) to implement design vision

–       Revise brand guidelines, including typeface and color scheme

–       Test website and make initial modifications after launch

–       Provide feedback on technical implementation of design

–       Provide design troubleshooting and new design content once new website is launched

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

–       Multiple years of experience implementing design briefs

–       Proficiency with Figma

–       Ability to work independently across different time zones

–       Previous experience working with small nonprofits is a plus
