Greetings from The 88 Project! We are bringing to you news and analysis regarding human rights and civil society in Vietnam during the week of May 8 to 14. We have updates on female activists Trần Thị Nga and Nguyễn Ngọc Như Quỳnh who both are being held in pre-trial detention. There are reports on environmental activists and Catholic priests who are being targeted for their leading roles in environmental protests in Central Vietnam.
