Rah Lan Mlih is an ethnic Jrai Christian from the village of Ploi Phun in Gia Lai province. For demanding
religious and indigenous rights, he was arrested in August 2010 and sentenced in April 2011 to nine years’ imprisonment with three years’ house arrest on release. He was convicted under Article 87 (Undermining the unity policy) of the 1999 Penal Code. He is last reported detained in Gia Lai province.
