History of Activism
Chi (m) is an ethnic Montagnard Christian and religious activist. He was arrested in September 2012 and brought
to trial in November 2013. He was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment under Article 87 (Undermining the unity policy) of the 1999 Penal Code. He is last reported detained at Gia Lai provincial prison.
Sentenced to 8 years in prison under Art. 87 (1999 Code). Expected Release is September, 2020.
