In 2019, after Khanh bought the book “Chinh tri binh dan” from the Liberal Publishing House, he received several text messages and phone calls that threatened him and ordered him to stay away from the publisher. He was invited by the police to the police station but he refused because he was busy. His landlord was asked to have him fill out a temporary residence paper.
